Samuel, messing up a freshly-painted wall, all while befriending the city worker who doesn't really care about his job. In a town where graffitis are a lifestyle, it's only a matter of time before a wall is repainted by vandals.

I'm suddenly reminded of this scene from the Disney cartoon, "How to Have An Accident At Work," where Donald Duck finishes painting a "No Smoking" sign, and then drops his celebratory cigar into a bucket of paint thinner, with humorously catastrophic results.
Of Warholian proportions, even.
